Goals for 2016
In 2016, the Driftless Region Bicycle Coalition is looking to take a few new routes toward achieving our mission. We’re here to help get more people on bikes, more often. To that end, you’ll see the DRBC participating in many community events to encourage cyclists by helping to repair, register, and safely ride our community. We’re encouraging new members with a special $20 regular yearly membership. We’re reaching out in social media channels — Facebook, Twitter, and others — to better inform our members and the public.
We’ll partner with out bicycle organizations and government entities to spread the message that bicycling is 21st century transportation. To that end, you’ll see the DRBC board out more often at governmental meetings where we hope to help community leaders develop better — and safer — bicycling infrastructure.
While we are redoubling our advocacy efforts, the DRBC will still help organize many fun rides for all cyclists.
Please write us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 608.571.BIKE if you or your organization needs help with your cycling efforts. Everything from helping find better bike parking to making your streets safer for cycling, the DRBC can help.
